What Retro Metro is
A browser emulator for classic consoles, and a collection of openly licensed homebrew games. It is free, has no ads, and needs no account; signing in is optional and only unlocks perks.
Your games
You open your own files. You are responsible for having the right to use whatever you load. We host no commercial games and will not help you find them.
The emulators are ours
The emulators, their code and the files that make up the Arcade are copyright IASoft (PVT) LTD. You may use them on this site, in your browser. You may not copy, download for reuse, host elsewhere, modify, reverse engineer, or wrap them in another product or site. If you find them somewhere other than retro-metro.xyz, that copy is not ours and is not supported.
Homebrew games
Each game in the Homebrew Collection belongs to its maker and is offered under the licence shown with it. Read the notice before reusing a game.
Takedowns
If you own something that appears on this site and object to it being here, write to us (see the contact page) with what it is and where it is, and we will act promptly.
No warranty
Retro Metro is provided as is. We make no promise that it will work with any particular game, device or browser, or that it will stay available. Your saves live in your browser; back them up.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, IASoft (PVT) LTD is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site.
Changes
We may change these terms; the date above tells you when. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
