How to ride

Change one letter to make a new word, and ride there. COLD, CORD, CARD, WARD, WARM: each stop is one letter from the last.
Reach the terminus at the bottom. Same length all the way: no adding, removing or shuffling letters, and no stop twice.
Par is the fewest stops there is. Any journey that arrives is a finished puzzle; matching par is the best result.
